need help starting, new

hey everyone, just picked up a 81 rx7, traded it for some audio stuff. The car currently does not start, it cranks strong but doesnt even sound close to firing. Im new to rotary engines so im gunna need some help. the car supposidly ran fine about 6 months ago, developed a rough idle, then wouldnt start.

heres what ive been through so far: checked all lines and hoses, everything seems fine.
Did the deflooding procedure, didnt work.
checked for spark, only one of the spark plugs actually sparked (L1) i beleive. after a bit more testing found that the cause was the plug wires (replaced those, as well as the spark plugs to be safe) still didnt work, getting spark on all 4 plugs now though.
the fuel pump is good
the carb is the one thing i dont know about. guy i got it from said that something was stuck at some point just before it stopped running but he "unsiezed" it. he couldnt explain it any better than that:scratch:..
now, when the choke is engaged the butterfly or float?(know nothing about carbs sorry) is closed, and pressing the throttle doesnt move it at all, not sure if thats how its suppose to be? the throttle cables all seem to be connected everywhere.

thats as far as ive gotten so far, i will continue checking things out but hopefully some one has a suggestion for me. i apologize for the lengthy post, ive read through almost 100 threads on these cars not starting but it seems most of the solutions are things i have tried already.

thanks,

Thanks ! I was looking at the carb today and when the key is on there is fuel "dripping" into one of the larger barrels but not the other 3. When I push the gas pedal I can see small amounts of fuel drip into the smaller 2 barrels. Should the fuel not be spraying into the barrels as opposed to dripping? And I'm guessing fuel shouldnt be constantly dripping into one of the larger barrels.
