Need Help Assembling Motoria Exhaust On S4 TII

In the picture I have attached (personally not my photo, I have every exact part however), I know so far that the mufflers connect from to the y pipe, which then connects to the high flow cat. That being said, I have a few questions.

What is that long pipe? A down pipe?
Why is one end of said pipe a 3 bolt flange while everything on the exhaust is a 2 bolt?
Where does said pipe connect to? I thought the Motoria connected after the stock catalytic converter (which is connected to the intake manifold), but the flanges are different and the piping diameter definitely varies in size.

So now I'm confused on how to install this exhaust.

It's self expanatory, especially of you look at the original exhaust ON the car.

Engine:turbo has a 3 bolt flange.
3bolt to 2 bolt on down pipe.to PRESILENCER(not a catalytic by the way.)..to Y pipe..to mufflers.

I'm guessing that I have to remove this catalytic converter? Cause I had grinded everything past that point since it was rusted and hard to unbolt. Such bad timing too, because some random guy drove down my street, saw the metal, and wanted to use it for scrap so I gave it to him.

From that point, I had no reference really other than laying down the aftermarket exhaust on the floor in that order you had explained, I just wasn't sure about that down pipe cause of the 3 bolt flange on one end.

And before anyone comments on the exhaust itself, I know Motoria has been receiving mixed reviews. If I were able to stay complete stock, I would have. This exhaust just happened to come with the car when I had purchased it and I was stupid to not remove my Apexi N1 off my old RX-7 before selling. Just got to deal with it I guess...

Take that part off TOO.
the Turbo has 3 studs that the NEW Downpipe will attach to.
That part there is what they call a Pre-cat and is essentially only used in warm up...sort of useless really.

Got it! Much thanks for the assistance! Now I can finally bolt this damn exhaust on.

I forgot to note that I'm by no means an intermediate mechanic, I'm a self taught beginner, still learning. As long as there's guidance or step-by-step instructions, I'm up for the task. Still new to all the vocabulary and what not.

My Dad (God bless his soul) was a Jack of all trades,so I watched him tinker with just about everything.
Since I got into Rx7's I am sure he is looking down on me going "Son,you got your Effin hands full!".

Check out the Canadian Section, there are a whole crapload of us up there.
Where is Canada do you hail from?

Nice! I never knew we had a Canadian section. I reside in Manitoba, home of nothing but Hondas and where RX-7s are extinct lol.
