Well i have the opportunity to buy my first rx7. Im looking @ a 1983 seven with 72k original. Completely clean no rust just faded paint. All the paper work included for 1800$.

A 1984 seven 13b FI. 155k original. body and interior in decent shape. Very little rust. Just does not run. needs fuel pump. Owner has new fuel pump willing to let me install before i buy. To make sure car runs fine. He's asking 1500 but im sure i can get it for less.

My ? is what should i do?

 

Personally I'd go with the '83. Not having rust is more important to me then the 13B.
