start here ... :)

with that Holley, you're probably running hella lean with the stock pump. unlike other aftermarket carbies that usually just need more volume to perform, Holleys need higher pressure as well. you may still need a regulator to "trim" it to your engine's needs, but get a bigger pump.

Thanks for the fast reply, I have ordered the pump and should receive it tommorow Monday. I will install and let you know. It comes with a regulator

just curious ... what pump did you order?

Holley blue fuel pump with regulator and gauge

sometimes stock pumps don't even feed stock setups!

holley blue is as tough as nails and will last forever. even then you can get rebuild kits for 'em.

make sure you set the regulator pressure spot on for the carb (but you knew this).

also, i'd suggest a weber carb... or, is it only bridged on the secondary ports, or something?

finally, get some vid of it running, you know, the usual stuff, brapity brap idle and toss it a few revs. bridgies must be heard.

I found out that my alternator was the thing messed up... At night I revved it, and inside the alternator started sperking like crazy...

Probably the carbon brushes fried. I work on a lot of electric motors hahaha. Just replace it or the brushes. Brushes would probably b cheaper though
