N/A Transmission Rebuild FC

Has anyone rebuilt an N/A transmission for the FC?
I have 3 transmissions at my disposal and for the most part all are in working order (each has its own issue).
My question is can it be done without going to a transmission shop?
What tools will be needed?
How long will it take?
What power will it be able to handle?

This is going into my vert, along with its (soon to be) streetported motor.

Any advice will help!

Thank you,
James.

sure it can. however, it's far from simple. you'll have to be honest about your aptitude before trying it.

What tools will be needed?
it requires specialized tools that have to be made or bought. if memory serves, buying them is expensive from research i've done in the past.

How long will it take?
again, it will depend on your aptitude and also on however long it takes for you to get the parts you'll be replacing.

What power will it be able to handle?
Type Ms can handle a fair amount of power. it's big torque that they don't like so much. however, it's not as simple as just quoting some number to you. the kind of use you subject it to will also play a role in how long it lasts. you can blow one up with stock power without really trying too hard.
