Mounting (S4 NA) 13B to a stand?

I understand this has been answered a few times before, and most seem to advocate purchasing the adapter plates and using the HF stand but I don't find it necessary.

If what I've been lead to believe is correct, then I'll be mounting the engine to a stand via these three green holes/studs? Otherwise I've also seen the blue spots used?

If this is the case, what size are those studs and bolts?

well you would not mount with the 2 blue holes on the left as they are on the Front Cover..and thin as hell and won't support the weight anyways.
Besides you would have a hard time getting the cover OFF!

Alrighty, thanks for the heads up. Does anybody happen to know the size of nut I'll need for those studs though?

IIRC, they are M10x1.5.

Slight thread hijack...

In terms of adapter plates, will one fit a 12A and a 13B-Renesis or would I be stuck buying 2 plates?

If you know someone with a welder, a drill and some angle iron, you can make an engine stand adapter for basically zero money.

The studs aren't 10x1.5 I guess. I bought a couple of nuts and they're too small. I'm thinking maybe 12x1.5?

Same thread as the wheel lug nuts.

The arms that come with most engine stands work. Try them before buying or making an adapter.
