I just finished my new mod few minutes ago. Connect those 6 port actuators onto the air pump and you'll never regret it. You can actually see if your 6 port are working or not by doing this mod, since it doesn't wait for back pressure, everything is thru the air pump which is proportional to the rpm of the engine. Make sure you plug that nipple from the back pressure pipe. Also this is required if the header that your are going to install is for road race which doesn't have the back pressure pipe.

mariah motor sports makes a do it yourself cold air box and they have a bolt on version as well.

sorry young buck, but with out a job man unless you parents are cool your not gonna have much HP.

you know you need $$ to play right. make a cold air box out of cardboard or somthing.lol take your time modding the 7 cause you have plenty of time.:icon_tup:

pvc piping or dryer duct seem to work ok, or so i've read over the yrs.

Aaron Cake 07-04-09 10:28 AM

Put a cone filter on it, make an airbox to draw air through the stock snorkel. You won't gain much, maybe about 5HP.

ya i my parents are cool. so ya they will lend me a few $$ here and there. and i was going to make a ram air intake with dryer stuff. and that type of stuff.

You should not rely on parental (or any other loans) for anything automotive. It will just come back to bite you in the ass. There are more important things in life then modding the car and money is best spent on them if you are short on funds.

ya i hope they wont because my mom loand me some money to buy and harley then i just got a 79 plymouth volar and it only has 33000 org. miles and it in perfect shape so ya i got it for 2750 slant six hoping for a 20b rotary motor in the future.

The only way to advance the timing would be to turn the CAS. This advances the entire operation of the EFI system and will be of minimal benefit.
