megasquirt2 zeal v3 board, rpm problems...

Hey I have recently finished building my megasquirt2 v3 board with zeal daughtercard. I have just bought the jimstim from diyautotune.com and started testing my signals. So far everything works perfectly, including downloading the latest firmware, building ecu and all tests. The only thing that wont work is the rpm signal, I've read that this is a frequent mishap when bench testing. I have never posted on the forum yet but have read tons of threads an various subjects. If someone could point me in the right direction on how to setup the jimstim or the megasquirt so I can test the rpm signal it would be greatly appreciated. I have checked the megasquirt forum, and I have seen the wheel selector section on the jimstim site but so far nothing has worked. I read somewhere something about jumping D2 when testing rpm? can anyone elaborate on this? I'm sorry if I'm not supposed to be posting this here but as I am only seeking information regarding this topic I don't think it makes much sense to post on other peoples threads for no reason just so I can post in the megasquirt thread. But if I have to I will do so. Anyways if anyone can help me out any feedback is appreciated.

thanks, Adam

Maybe I should post this in the megasquirt forum?
