list of a couple issues

Alright I have posted a couple of things and really appreciate the responses I have recieved. So here's what I got. 91 rx7
1st Starts up fine when cold but have to hold gas pedal down to start when warm.
2nd idling goes up a down from 750 - 1000 constant.
It has new plugs, wires, and O2 sensor. Will be givin an oil change in a couple days Prob weekend.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

if the idle is bouncy, than you have a vacuum leak, and it may be part of your hot start issues also

check the FSM to adjust the TPS also, I'm not sure how to do it on a S5, S4 is easy

for 1: i don't know if it's different for S5 cars, but i know with S4 cars holding the pedal while starting is one of the ways to deflood the engine, so i might suggest you have your injectors cleaned and refurbished. if it is a flooding situations when warm, then they may be leaking. it may also have somewhat contributed to the smoking you described in the other thread.

for 2: Lduley mentioned a possible vacuum leak and TPS maladjustment. add to the list: check the timing and check the BAC.

i believe you actually have that backwords, s4 mashing the pedal just makes it dump more gas, s5 ecu's when you floor the gas actually shuts the injectors off as a "deflood" mode
