Just bought a RHD FD, have some questions.
 

Hey guys, so as the title states, I picked up an imported JDM FD RX-7. Drove it home fine, but ran into some issues and have some questions about fixes.

First thing is the EGT sensor that apparently does not appear on the USDM models came out and it dragged along the ground making it useless. I've heard to take out the sensor and put a resistor in, how big of a resistor should I be installing to keep the car from limping out? (heard removing the sensor causes the car to go into a limp mode)

Another issue I came across is when the car is warm or has been driven a lot, the car stalls while the clutch is engaged in gear. This happened to me in traffic a few times, heard it could point to a potentially broken clutch switch?

Finally in terms of pre-mixing, I've read endless amounts of threads that were fairly old and haven't heard much since. What is the general consensus on it currently and what/how much do people use?

The JDM version is pretty much the same as the USDM version. When I removed my cat, the EGT sensor came out with it. I just took some wire and jumped the ends of the connector under the seat to complete the circuit. My "HEAT" light in the cluster went away, no issues whatsoever since, no limp. The Premix, I do about 4oz per 3/4 tank. But I eyeball it. I think most people do more, but, I'm fairly certain my OMP still works, so I don't feel like pushing it. As far as the clutch goes, I am not sure, nor do I really have a place to start on that one, sorry.

Only one I can comment on is regarding premix. The recommended amount by Idemitsu is 1/2 oz/gallon for a stock car with a functional OMP..

Usually an engine builder will give their recommendation if you start to climb in power. For example I still have a working OMP but have been told to also run 1oz/gallon premix.
