Just Bought A 93 FD

Hey guys! New to the rotary world here;

Just bought a black 1993 RX-7 with the following;
Fresh streetported motor
Greddy 25g turbo charger
Greddy rs bov
Greddy wastegate
Greddy downpipe
Blitz intercooler
Aeromotive fuel pump
Areomotive fuel pressure regulator
1680 cc secondary injectors.
Exedy clutch
Blitz exhaust
Apexi midpipe
Bride bucket seats
Crow racing harness
Carbon dash kit (not installed)
Aem water temp gauge
Apexi power fc
Bee R Rev Limiter/Power Builder (not installed)

Motor was done by Kevin @ Rotary Resurrection. Guy I bought it from said he didn't put much more than 100 miles on it (idk if thats true or not) Car is not tuned but it's mechanically sound. It does need some odds and ends, and then I'll get it tuned.

First things first, the fuel system. Before purchasing the car, at idle I could see a fuel leak around the rail (it was puddling) in between the rotor housing and the lower intake. Got it home, changed the oil, and pulled the upper intake off. I can't see where exactly its leaking from, but I know it's not from the FPR, or the ends of the secondary rail (aftermarket). Someone moved the fuel filter to the engine bay, and honestly, whoever did that, should never touch a car again. Although it didnt seem to leak at the filter, I couldnt see it leaking where the fuel inlet is either. There is braided line from the seconday to the FPR as well. I can post a video of it tomorrow to show the system.

Also, there was a random vacuum hose running from the filter housing (before turbo inlet), to a Y fitting, where one went to what looked like a factory FPR on the primary rail, and one to the other side of it.

Heres a picture of the car on the way home!

As mentioned; I did a fresh oil change, and then ordered new plugs, NGK 5777/6917 and figured I'd give PLX a try and got this: Wideband O2 Touch Screen Multi Guage | Vacuum & Boost

Wouldn't you know it, the Secondary Rail says KGPARTS

Welcome to the rotary world. To test the fuel system for leaks you can start the pump by a little jump wire in the diagnostic panel (see the workshop manual) and observe for leaks. You shouldn't smell any gas to be sure it doesn't leak.

Probably the pulsation dampener is leaking. DON't drive it until its fixed

Read a couple posts from people with the KG Parts fuel rail, suggested to put chevrolet 5.3 injector o-rings and that sealed it up! Took the car today to get tuned!

Since the car was swapped from AT to MT, whoever did it used a JDM assembly so the clutch pedal doesnt have enough travel. Gonna try to find a partout!
