I can't really shed advice in terms of what motor to swap in. But it can get pretty expensive; it may be better to see exactly what is wrong with your current motor. You may be able to save/use the rotor housings towards a rebuild.
Because I honestly doubt you will find another "new" / "Strong" motor that someone is willing to part with at a decent price. It will most undoubtedly need a rebuild before long. If everything checks out within specs in terms of housings/irons/rotors; your looking @ around 600$ to close it back up. Given you said the motor was abused I really cant give any estimate in terms of pricing; the bearings could be bad. The previous owner could have pinged a rotor; or done all kinds of damage to a rotor housing. Its one of those things your going to need to crack it open and see EXACTLY what you need. Sadly its not like a piston engine were you can just buy "said kit" and bam your good. It all depends on what it needs when it comes to a rotary engine. I wish you the best of luck. Rafe. |
Thanks man so I checked it out it's completely done....I have a friend that said he can get me a 12a for 350 still running but my question now is can I mount up a 12a to a.13b trans

engines all share the same bolt pattern as far as the tranny goes. |

does this mean your car is an SE or a 12A car that was swapped to a 13B? it may make a difference in terms of work and overall cost of replacing the engine. engines all share the same bolt pattern as far as the tranny goes. |
congrats, id say if it was already swapped, rebuild or find another 13b

stock EFI or carbie?
