JDM ecu okay to run with 91 octane ???
Hey guys!
I'm swapping in a JDM motor into my fd. My question is can I run the JDM ecu with 91 octane ? . I don't have access to any of the us harness or ecu. Thanks for the help |
yes... so long as its not the newer ecu with the white plugs. are the ports on it square or rectangle?

C rex thanks alot brotha appreciate it ! There isn't alot of posts with this. Reason why is I know in Japan they run the equivalent to 98 I octane. So that wouldn't be good !

well... not exactly lol its pretty common that people think that. the octane level in japan is measured in a different unit giving it a higher number. like km/h vs mp/h.
no problem though. welcome to the forum. theres a lot of information on here and the regulars are more than willing to help. |
