Instrument Cluster Question

Hey hey,

I know that in the 1988 fc3s specs thread, it says that the 5 speed cars came with the shift indicator on the dash, but mine doesn't have one. I have pretty much every invoice for the car since it was brought over from Vancouver in 1992 (the previous owner was a bit OCD about paperwork, and I doubt in the first four years of its life the cluster would have been swapped with an auto one.
So is there an exception to the shift indicator?

bumb... no answer to this?

Are you sure you do not have one, or it just doesn't work?

there is no spot on the cluster for it, and the highbeam light is right in the center, as opposed to the right of center like I see in other cars

Well that sure sounds like you don't have one. I understand the j-spec cars were set up that way also... maybe that was true also of the Canadian cars, or maybe this one was imported from Japan?

lol not from japan, but i suppose it's possible about the canadian cars. Thanks for your help anyways
