injector question

hey guys recently i ordred a set of 4 pl4-750d injectors from a company and today i just recieved pl9 1200s from them. im wondering if i can still run these with minimal issues? my car is stock turbo, 3inch open exhaust, apexi filter, with an rtek 2.1. if i can run these ill keep them as the potential is higher but im wondering if these would work? thanks in advance.

Both appear to be low impedence, do you have a resistor box or have them wired into the injector harness? The PL4-750D is a Denso style top. I think there may be a difference in the overall length of the PL9 injector, the injector body looks different and like it would take different o-rings/grommets to fit a stock style fuel rail. Which would cause issues with it physically mounting. They both look like the EV1 injector plug though. Stock S4 is EV1 square injector clip, S5 has the oval style injector clip. The PL9-1200's will flow 1000cc @ the same pressure the PL4-750D's will flow 750cc. I would call RC and ask the differences in the two.

the injector as it is right now(pl9-1200 cc ) will not fit as stock without Modification.
the Pl4-750-d's WILL fit, without any modification onto the fuel rail...been there done that.

that is also too much injector for that ECU, even if you ran it as lean as it will allow it will still be overly rich. Rtek has limited capabilities.

thanks for the response guys. i actually found a few posts about the pl9s and sent them back to be exchanged with the 750s. i was unsure if i could lean the 1200s out enough with the rtek but it seems you need a full standalone to make them work properly. on a side note which is what kindof through me off in the first place was when i called RC the lady i was talking to there told me that the pl9-1200s were a direct fit for the rx7. however reading into it it seems as though the length of the injector is too small. and when comparing them to the stock injectors they are deff too short.
