seeking 20B masters opinions
Hey all,
My 20b engine just arrived on my front door this morning. The engine is off a halfcut and it is the first batch of 20b with a #814 stamp.
After I've done some research, the first batch are prone to failure due to the e-shaft and the weaker cast irons (not sure the housing or the intermediate plate).
My goal setup is to run a big single turbo and hitting about 700whp. So, is there any way to reinforce the engine? Would simply doweling solve the problem? or should I just replace the e-shaft and other weak parts, or the expensive way, billet plate and e-shaft. OR, the last resort, sell it and fund a 26b project.
Any opinions would greatly help me.
Regards
Wesley
