ID Connector and Pipe

I my buddy had my car for years and never put it together so I finally got it back and am working on it myself and learning as I go. But I never took it apart and got it back in pieces so it’s been a puzzle for sure. Anyway need wisdom!

So the circled nipple what does it go to?
The blue connector? What does it go to?
and the black connector on the back side with the orange what does it go to?

the Manifold is not stock he gave away my blown motor and all I got back was a JDM manifold.

The large port on the intake elbow is/was for the accelerated warm-up system. A hose went to the back side of the throttle body.
The black connector appears to be for the Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Sensor. That’s midway on the underside of the manifold.
The blue plug was for California EGR and was likely unused on your old engine. I’m not familiar with JDM engines, and differences in engine harnesses and ecu but doubt they’re completely plug n play. Good luck.

I have a connector plugged into sensor mid way under the manifold what else could it go to?

Ok so it’s IAT or AWS.. not sure if they can be swapped if not it’s AWS.

where would the accelerated warm up system be?

thanks for all the help!

Oh I was also going to ask if I needed to jumper that EGR switch plug since there is no EGR.

I don’t think you’ll have to jumper it but depending on what your buddy removed you may need block-off plates. No experience in JDM engine swaps but suspect if you’re still using the stock NADM ECU you’ll likely have CEL’s for different things. You can search in the 3rd Gen FAQ at the top of this page or search in the 3rd Gen tech section....or maybe someone else will chime in.

Don’t have to block off EGR there isn’t even a spot for it on the manifold I have installed. The AWS I’m pretty sure is the same story though I still haven’t found exactly where it is supposed to be mounted.
