I hate Meth addicts!

Ok so im in the process of stripping my new project and noticed the previous owners were on something. They had a toggle switch wired straight to the underhood fusebox im guessing was a "killswitch". Um theres a whole mess of wires cut and hanging near the interior fusebox. And to top it all off i could tell if they couldnt find the bolt screw whatever they ripped it out. Sorry now to my question. How the heck do you read a wiring diagram? The fsm is extreemely difficult to understand. Any answers are appreciated thanks

Devin

and your Car ain't workin,so it must have been screwed with by Valium Junkies!
Follow the wires from the switch to the Under hood fuse box.IF it goes to the EGI fuse then it was a kill switch.

The FSM wiring diagram "how to", symbols, and abbreviations are listed on the first few pages (50-3 through 50-11) of the wiring diagram section. I have found it easiest to go to the main wiring diagrams first (50-112 through 50-120), and then go to system-specific pages as needed.

You may want to keep the kill switch, although I think a proper relay would work better than the hard-wire setup that you probably have. The FC RX-7 has a computer glitch that can cause the engine to flood, and leaky fuel injectors will also cause flooding. The anti-flood feature of the gas pedal was not added until 1989. The common unflooding procedure for 86-88 models involves removing the EGI fuse and then cranking the starter for a few seconds. An EGI kill-switch allows you to do this without getting out of the car and opening the hood.

Oh so whoever rigged this up probably knew what they were doing then. You would have never guessed it by the way the Guy I bought it from talked about the car. Because according to him it had a Mazda four Banger. Anyways thank you for the advice. It was an egi killswitch and has been addressed. And as for the wiring question problem solved :) Thanks guys

I love meth addicts. They sell their shit for cheap!

Jk. But really my friend bought a $2500 lawnmower from a tweaker for $700

The only meth I like is the kind that is injected to cool the intake charge. ^_^
