How many miles will a rebuilt engine fd with reliable mod last?

As title is stated and having the fd as DD. The reliability mod will be radiator, silicon hose, AST, and WI. With these mods,a new engine, and changing oil every 2-3k. How many miles would the engine last?

should do a down pipe as well. Pre cats just cause heat which kills your motor.

that is impossible to answer. first who built it? what kind of seals? is the tuning done correctly and tuned conservatively? can you guarantee that you are always getting good gas. there are too many variables. the things about these cars that is a blessing to some and a pain in the ass to others is that you are going to have to do rebuilds eventually unless you want spend the cash for others to do it for you. that will kind of sound like a bummer but keep in mind when you blow these motors you pay a couple hundred bucks for a new gasket kit and replace the apex seal and you are back out on the road in a few days. not too bad once you have gathered the treasure trove of random fd parts that many fd owners do you may spend $300-$500 for the rbuild provided you didnt cash a rotor or housing. this sounds terrrible but in the end its a lot cheaper and easier than replacing the the cracked block and rotating assembly of a reciprocating motor. sorry for rambling but to answer your question just get the highest quality built you can afford and be as meticulous with maintanence as possible and you will get more miles out of it. also keep an eye on the oil level that omp that keeps the motor lubed also burns up a lot of it with hard driving so check it when you go to the pump.

78,529 miles.

It's hard to say since most FD owners don't stay with reliability mods for enough miles to learn. Most of them end up increasing boost or something else that makes it a non-stock setup.

The reliability mod that most has my attention now is water injection. It takes the heat out of the hottest parts of engine operation, and heat is the problem with making these engines last. So there's another part of the "how long will my engine last?" equation that can't be solved.
