How to maintain?
 
Simple question. How do you maintain a rotary?

- check your oil often because rotarys inject oil to lubricate the apex seals and will need to be topped up from time to time.

- regular oil and oil filter changes, same goes with all engines fresh oil is better oil!!

- gently warm up the engine and don't drive it hard until the motor is at full operating temperature.

other than that its like maintaining any other car.

These cars are almost 30 years old, anything that old will have some electric issues

Im coming from toyotas where everything works always so im surprised to hear this haha

Because it's a 20+ year old car, the wires in the engine bay are old, get brittle and tend to break off leading to electrical issues (think of a 20 year old rubber band). Rotories also run hot.
