which Holley carb is this?

I just looked up the numbers on my carb it says list# 8007, 6r4208. I'm running a 13b 6 port Bridgeport. Is it too small of a carburator? Maybe that's why the popping noise on the carb was fuel starvation let me know. I got a feeling this carb is way too small for my engine...

It is small. It should work at lower revs, but won't flow as much air as that motor wants at what your real power band is.

I don't know much except what I've read in a hundred or so carb threads. There are some edelbrock proponents on the site.

I'd say a little too small is better than too big, but you need to work the search. There are a hundred threads that address your problem.

390 cfm is grossly inadequate for a 13B bridgey.
