Hey everyone! FC N/A 13B Engine options?!

Hey everyone. I purchased a red 1990 FC N/A 13B about a year ago and due to life things I haven't been able to put a lot of work into it. The car sat in a garage for 8 years prior. Body is in very good shape. I got in running with a few new parts (new battery, fuel pump, spark plugs, wires, new gas) and have done a few things to it since (all fluids except coolant, new master cylinder, oil pressure check, new pressure sender) and now I'm wondering what my options are for power. I don't know much about RX-7's but I have been doing my research. I want to keep it rotary because I think the rotary engines are pretty unique. Everyone I talk to just tells me to LS swap it, but I just feel like that's the easy way out.
I'm looking to turbo the current engine if at all possible. I know that would probably require a rebuild and I'm okay with that, provided the parts to turbo such an engine exist. It has been most likely overhauled in the past as it has 238,000Kms on it (I'm Canadian) and I've read they last about 100k, if that, before rebuild. Only aftermarket parts on it are an Intake & exhaust system, and it has a fuel pump shut off switch.
Thank you in advance for any info you can provide. I'm new to the whole forum thing but I feel it's necessary for the best info on these vehicles.

So after looking around a bit, I realize I most likely won't be able to turbo this engine, as it just can't handle the boost.
So after a lot of research and youtube videos and other forums and what not, I think I'm going to keep it N/A and just restore it to its former glory.

for the record, it may not be that cut and dry, but that said, you've likely made the best decision.

And get that coolant changed. 8 + years its way overdue, especially on a rotary.

What do you guys recommend for coolant? any specific brand?
Also I know this has probably been discussed a lot but I'm still not sure what to run for oil?! 10w30 synthetic is what I'm leaning towards.
I also have a bunch of wiring questions because I bought this vehicle with absolutely no info on it. That will be another time though as I'm fairly busy lately.
Thanks in advance
Oh and I will get pictures up some time this week.

Green ethylene glycol works. Or the red Asian coolant is also fine...imo. I change mine annually but at least bi-annually imo. It goes acidic with time and you have a bi-metal engine and soft seals.

As as important as the type of oil is just keeping intervals a little closer...3-4k miles. Rotaries typically have a little fuel dilution over time and theres always a little oil stranded inside the rotors during changes. Opinions vary on synthetic vs mineral. If I was n/a I’d probable just go with mineral for the cost. Use whatever viscosity the Manual recommends.
