HELP! preassure in coolant system after i rev it.
 

I was driving home last night and drove about 5 miles from my friends. when i arrived i had steam coming out from under my hood. the coolant temp was normal and it was blowing antifreeze from the overflow on top of the AST. i checked it today and there was still preasure in the AST. i released all the preassure in the system , started it and reved it twisted the cap loose and there was preassure again while it was still cold. No smoke and the engine runs great still. Please dont tell me that the O-Ring in the rotor housings has taken a crap!?:banghead:

pressure in the system usually indicates some form of compression blow by, though it doesnt always mean its the reason

best way to check is let it run with the cap off, if you get consisten champaign bubbles or worse odds are its a coolant seal
