Help to Identify this FD Rear Spoiler
Just as the title says...I need help identifying this spoiler:
https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.rx7...b346b36916.jpg I've found similar spoilers from China, but was wondering who the original maker is. If you know the original maker/brand...where is the brand stamped? How can I tell if its the china version? I found this one another one on ebay, but it claims thats its a 99 spec OEM https://www.ebay.com/itm/JDM-99-Spec...FakbhG&vxp=mtr Thanks in advance! |
Mazdaspeed Know
I have one like that. Can't find any mark on it. Fibreglass work, as viewed from inside, is much less tidy that Mazdaspeed version. Mazdaspeed version also has the adjustment panels on the outside of the pillars.

Thanks for the info! Looks like the Racing Beat Type 2 Wing could be a possible candidate also.

Mold sets in
I have a different racing beat wing, and it has "Racing Beat" molded into it.

More Mystery
3 Attachment(s)
Here are several interesting wings as seen on cars at auction in Japan.
We are wondering what they are. Also a pic of a known Mazdaspeed original wing (silver) with an "odula" insert. Attachment 737332 Attachment 737333 Attachment 737334. |
Thanks for help! :icon_tup:

It does look like the Racing Beat Racing Wing Type 2. Fd3s.net has a section to identify a few spoilers that might be helpful. http://www.fd3s.net/wing/index.html

The yellow one is a Mazdaspeed or mazdaspeed replica with the end plates molded in. I have an authentic mazdaspeed. Side plates are held on with 3M tape. Racing beat type 2 wings are decent replicas of the original Mazdaspeed but use 2 screws on each end plate. |
Looks like a mazdapeed to me as well |
Thanks for the help everyone! I didn't even know about the FD3S.net site:icon_tup:

I always use Bulletproof Automotive for my JDM parts, might be worth an email?
