Help on FD, fuel gauge not working
 

just bought the car and fuel gauge is not working on my 93 RX7 twin turbo, is this a comon problem on FD3S? anybody know if this is the gauge it self or the sending unit?

Two common reasons:
- the sender is a rheostat type and it can develop excessive resistance. Pull the pump and clean the contacts
- something is loose inside the tank and blocking the level float assembly.

thanks dgeesaman, i pulled the pump out and cleaned it, my fuel gauge works again, hopefully it will stay like that.
