A fuse blowing indicates a short in that circuit. If you pull up the wiring diagrams for your year, there is a page near the front that shows the engine bay and interior fuse blocks. The various components that are powered through the EGI comp fuse will be listed there. The problem could lie on the power side of any of these branches. A frayed wire or a poorly spliced connection could be to blame. If there has been any recent wiring work done, I would start there.

ok i chased wires and opened up my harness (broke my heart and really didnt want to lol) found some wires had melted the coating and fused together, replaced those wires.
ok so it ran great for a few days then last night it just died while driving
i think its a spark problem tach dont bounce when turned over
geting power to coils but no spark out of coils
im thinking maybe it damaged the ecu when it grounded out but as i said it ran great for a few days now nothing
any help would be geat as i love driving my rotor
it loves to eat honda's :)

W/key to on, turn over the engine by hand using the alternator pulley and measure the voltage on the G/Y wire at the leading coil as this is the only coil needed to start the car. Voltage on this wire should go from 5 volts to 0 volts over and over.

And check the voltage w/key to on at the check connector right near the leading coil and focus on the B/W wire as it should have battery voltage. If no voltage then check the Comp fuse.

The B/W wire I spoke of powers the ECU and not the coils.

main relay

ok i replaced the main relay and presto have spark but now my fuel pump isnt geting power lol
if its not 1 thing on my 7 lately its another
so i guess my question is where to go from here
yesterday it was pumping fuel( opened air flow gate and could hear fuel flowing)
no today i dont seem to have any power at the pump

HELP ME PLEASE im getting dis-heartened in my toy want to fix it not part or sell it lol

If the Main Relay wasn't working then the B/W and or B/Y wire could not have had voltage on them w/key to on but that's another issue. If the Main Relay clicks w/key to on then that means the 15 amp Engine fuse is good so it can't be that as it powers the Circuit Opening Relay that powers the fuel pump. Check the Blue wire at the Circuit Opening Relay located under the dash and just to the right of the steering column as it is Black and Yellow and has 5 wires. The Blue wire should have voltage w/the fuel check connector jumpered and key to on or if you jumper the Brown wire to the solid Black wire in this relay then it does the same thing as jumpering the fuel check connector.

forgot the little things

lol im a dumb ass
ok i went over the wiring diagrams again and while i was going down the list i thought gee i better check the 15 amp engine fuse again
i mean i had replaced and fixed every thing that was wrong and there it was just the damn engine fuse lol
thnx for all the help guys
