Help! Cars too loud

Alright, I'll start off by saying the title was childish but I'll take the attention. I have owned an 88 gtu for the past few weeks, and the previous owner apparently took more care to the loudness of the car than he did to basic maintenance. He left me with racing beat headers and a y midpipe. I'm experienced enough to modify or completely weld an exhaust (nothing fancy but you know what I'm saying). Problem being I can't find mufflers to fit in the small clearance under the car. I'm trying to keep it in budget, mostly find used axle back mufflers but again I run into more problems, people aren't willing to part their full exhaust or are stuck on the price. So, after my elongated rant on being a noob, any suggestions that won't lead me to a junk muffler shop? or parts for sale? Thanks guys

ALSO, I did not make this thread to beg for parts or something. By saying parts for sale I mean an aftermarket cheap muffler or something. Again I'm new with the rx7, so sorry about that mods

Budget, full Catback system is 670$ish and if I wanted to buy mufflers separate would be 269$ a piece. trying to stay under 400$ and that would still put a frown on my face. I know beggars can't be choosers.

Racing Beat Universal Presilencer and Muffler FTW. Super Quiet.

Curious if you have any sound clips of those mufflers I had never noticed the universals on their website.

The universal mufflers are just the Regular RB's without the tip and curved pipe.

Looks like they also don't have the offset exit but the pictures only show the mufflers from one side.

I'd still be interested in hearing it to see how much the thinner walled pipe changes it. I was under the impression rb pipes were pretty thick.

Thanks it sounds pretty quiet really with a hair more higher sound about what I would figure the thinner pipe would add.

Gonna have to check it out one more time on something with a better say of speakers.

They're symmetrical. Same on both sides.

Super quiet considering it's single.

Magnaflo makes some nice mufflers. I use two on a 3.5 inch exhaust on a turbo BMW. The main thing is to get a straight through design. You can find them in center in/out, offset in/out and sometimes center/offset. With some shopping around you can find the size you need. 5 inch round, 6 inch round, oval, long body, short body, etc. Just takes a little searching.
