help

Has anyone built a diesel 13b?
I like the power but I'd really like better fuel economy aswell so I thought I might try and build one.

You do know how a diesel engine works right? I don't think the rotors would be able to supply the 16-20:1 compression ratio that a diesel engine. I mean if you want to try and reingineer the wankel rotary by all means go for it! I personally don't think its possible

there are a few threads on here that have yielded some good discussion on the subject of diesel and rotaries. look them up.

not a likely project...

There are generator varieties out there, which don't yield any particular power gains comparatively. The change in economy seems negligible- the real popularity of those engines is derived from their capacity to burn any number of questionable-quality fuels.
