welcome.

Haltech has some great offerings in their current lineup. i honestly don't know much, if anything, about the Power FCs, so i'll leave that alone. you're doing the right thing in asking the question, it just may not be the best place to ask.

my advice would be to leave this thread here. gather basic information on the Power FC and a Haltech model that interests you, then take that information and start poking around in the respective Engine Management forums here on the board and take in as much as you can. also, check out the build threads in the Gen II forum and see what guys that are running similar setups are using for management.

If given the choice between those exact ECUs, then Haltech. More functional for about the same money. P1000 is the best choice.

In a perfect world the Haltech is the obvious choice. In our real world (in the SF Bay Area, at least), there are many, many more people that know how to properly tune a RX-7 with the Apexi unit.
I got the PFC, had Kan tune it and I'm 100% stoked.

I am a fan of the Haltech. One big reason is the offering of the fully terminated wire harness. As I'm sure you are aware the harness is bad.... Or is on it's way out. With the full harness there is no question on wiring issues. I feel that with the proper tuner, the Haltech software has a bit more potential. Just my .02.

Haltech...but as stated above it really depends on who you have around you that can really tune your car with the unit you have.

Haltech and find a competent tuner. No reason to pick a downgrade for an ECU when you can certainly find someone local (try your local forum and the Haltech forum) to help you.
