Good aftermarket FPR??

Hey all! i was wondering what a decent Fuel pressure regulator to buy would be? i have a streetported 87 turbo and not pushing for crazy hp just want to make the 7 a little more fire resistant:crackup:

Radium for small fuel requirements, Weldon for big ones.

Most people use a high-quality aftermarket fuel pressure regulator that has a fuel pulsation damper function, and this way they have better control over the fuel pressure while also getting rid of the failure-prone stock pulsation damper. Aeromotive and SX regulators have this function, as would most brands that have a fluorosilicone diaphragm.

Technically you could just get rid on the FPD to make it less fire prone. The FPR does not fail that often, and if you are not making 350+hp you really are ok with the stock FPR. 84-88 FPD Elimination Kit

If you want to upgrade the FPR, I have been using the fuel lab regulators in nearly all my builds up to 600hp. They are compact and the mini fits on the end of most rails with an adapter. Fuel Lab Regulators

Hi mate, I always use and recommend to use a decent branded one like Aeromotive. You’re always best off buying them new and from reputable companies too rather than second hand and eBay. Take out the pulsation damper too mate as they’re prone to failing

Fuel Lab, Aeromotive, Radium, Weldon
