General V Mount questions

So I haven't seen a ton of documentation on the cx racing v mount...I have a few questions and concerns. Why is it only 750 buckaroos when Greddy and HKS are both 3k? Every time I search images of it I only see single turbo FDs is this the only application? I am not doing a budget build by any means but I am somewhat frugal. If I can get the same result for a lesser price then ill jump on it. I have even thought of doing my own kit piece by piece any insight on that would also be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Generally speaking, companies like CX Racing copy proven parts so you are paying them for the pieces and a few bucks extra to line their pockets. Companies like Greddy spent the time developing, test fitting, and usually thinking of everything needed to make the install as simple as possible. So you’re paying for the parts and their development cost.

i dont know that cx racing directly copied anyone but thats usually how it works with the cheaper alternatives.

I have the HKS kit with factory twins. That setup is quite a bit less from Japan. I think I paid ~$2k for it and about $300 shipping for it and a bunch of other stuff (including heavy brake rotors).

CX Racing products are in general, what people call "Ebay kits". They work, (an intercooler is an intercooler no matter what brand it is), but sometimes the quality might not be there, such as leaks in the radiator, bad welds, or just bad fitment.
There is nothing wrong with them, but you might have to do some simple fab work to either make them fit your application, or to fix some minor defects.
