Fuel Out Valve?

Hey guys This is my first actual post so sorry if I miss some formalities. I did some searching on the forum and google but nothing came up maybe its because what I am looking for has a different name?
Anyways I recently bought a 1985 RX-7 GSL (12A) and recently replaced the fuel pump. I found a weird thing located on the frame that recieves fuel from the pump then sends it to the engine. I looked it up and it is called a "Fuel Out Valve" on page 4A-3 in this manual: http://wright-here.net/files/manuals...ssions_12A.pdf
It makes the plumbing super awkward and I was wondering if it can be bypassed/what does this valve do? https://fbcdn-sphotos-f-a.akamaihd.n...82934524_n.jpg
Sorry thats a bad picture but its up in the top left. If need be i can provide a better one. The diagram in the manual shows it really nicely though. Anyways if anyone knows much about it let me know! PS the pump install is not done. Replacing all the rubber lines soon and gonna make those wires cleaner! Thanks in advance!:)

Take the bend out of those hoses,or you won't get proper fuel to the engine.
Your pic shows a pump and filter.

I'm aware the hosing is bad that's why i said i am going to be replacing it. As for the part I am concerned about its in the upper left, also see the manual. Thanks for the reply.

I believe you're referring to the fuel cut valve, this prevents gas from entering the evap canister as the fuel level rises in the tank. If you remove this you can end up filling the evap canister with fuel. This is no bueno.

Haha thanks for the heads up but in the manual its called a fuel out valve and its in the main fuel line not the evap????

This picture? That is a fuel cut valve.... it's a manual from 1985 and it's imported to pdf the writing gets messed up.

Alright so to confirm this is required?

Yeh so I was wondering what the fuel cut valve does and can I bypass it or is it a nice thing to have :P

It does what I said, and yes you can bypass it if you like, you wont experience running issues.
