I got tired of spending money on fixing the car..
Now I just BURN IT...better results.

now,to answer your question..it's a two headed coin.
fix it Cheaply or correctly?
with OEM or aftermarket Bling?.
Top of the line or generic?

..Beyonce or Madonna...

I've seen Guys pour their hearts into the car and have it Blow up.They sell the parts they had on the car so they can get it running/fixed and start "all over again".

$2.47....on average. But that's for an FD and things can be a little more expensive.

Also...
Are you an ASE mechanic or a noob?
Do you have access to an auto shop or equivalent (full tool set, torque wrench, hoist, etc.)?
Do you have a good source for used parts?
What is the current condition of the car?
How many miles does the car drive per year?
Is the car used for racing?

I hate to say it, but the cost of maintaining a Turbo II can be from $15 to over $20,000 per year, depending on many factors. If it is a typical street car in good shape then I would estimate somewhere around $2,000 per year on average for professional maintenance, and about half that if you can perform all the maintenance yourself.
