FD rear shaking/clunking noise

Hey guys I’ve searched Google and the forum about what could be my problem I’m having with my 96 FD. Whenever I pull out of a parking spot or do any turns while moving slow the rear of my car clunks really bad and shakes bad almost like a wheel is very loose and barely hanging on. I’ve read that it could be the pillow balls but would those being bad cause this very bad shaking and clunking?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

since it only does it when turning, sounds like a problem with the rear differential/spider gears.

Or a bushing the upper or lower control arms that has REALLY failed. You’re going to have to put it on jack stands and get under there with a good light and thoroughly look around. Make sure the car is stable and have someone try to rock the wheels back and forth, and use a big pry bar to put load on the suspension while you’re underneath watching.
