FD Boost Controller

Hey everyone, I'm looking at getting a boost controller for my 93. I still have the stock twins but i read on here that it's safe to adjust it up a little bit from the 10-8-10. I was thinking about going up to 12 or maybe 12.5. I was looking at the GReddy Profec B spec 2 and was wondering if anyone had any insight as to if its a good choice? If not, recommendations? Thanks

Don't do it. The fuel system really does not support anything beyond 10 PSI safely. Read the FAQ for threads on that topic. Stock ECU and stock fuel system = keep it on stock 10 PSI boost.

The stock twins can handle 12psi but your fuel system and ECU may not be up to the task. As it's already been said, no higher than 10psi. If you run too much boost you'll blow your engine.

Describe your mods and maybe we can outline what you'll need to increase boost.

If you do get a boost controller get Apexi's AVCR, just my preference. I found it very user friendly.

If you do get a boost controller (or any other part) research it first. I suggest reading the 3rd gen FAQ or using the Search feature to do so. Turbo rotaries require a fair amount of knowledge to reliably modify. The wrong mods will leave you with a blown motor real quick.
