FB RX7 Adapter Questions
Hi everyone, new here so I'll keep it short.
I recently bought a set of wheel spacers/adapters so I could run 4x114.3 FC wheels on my FB. I put them on and haven't noticed any issues, but I have a few questions. For one, I ran into some trouble on the back. I have the S model with drum brakes and the screws holding the drums(??) on were in the way of the spacer sitting flush. I noticed the lug bolts screw into the same place though so I went ahead and removed the screws. Is this safe to do? Even though I haven't noticed any issues it still weighs on me while driving.
Also, I'd like to autocross the car in the spring. Is there anything I can do to make it safer on the spacers? Is it safe to run at all? Sorry if this has been covered before. I'd appreciate any suggestions or help. Thanks.
