Fb body kit like the boss?
Is there a body kit for the first gen’s like the fd boss kit? I am, in my opinion, decent at fabbing stuff up... but would prefer a kit to start with if possible. I’ve done quite a bit of searching but haven’t came up with anything I’ve liked or matched what I wanted. Makes me think I probably will just have to make everything myself.

I've seen the top one before and when it was posted the person spoke to the owner. The wing is completely 100% custom so I am guessing that glasswork is bespoke as well.
The bottom one kinda looks like photoshop...idk doesn't look real to me and I've also never seen that style of modern body kit for an FB.

That’s one clean and nice fb Michael xedos. Sweet ride.
And the second pic I kinda thought the same thing. It looks like it isn’t real but it also looks like it could be made to work. Take some serious fabricating skills. All in all I’d love to have the red ones kit without the wing.

Pimpy if you have skill making fibreglass I know a lot of RX7 FB owners want fender flares similar to the IMSA or Group C Body kit. For inspiration look at the JDM Legends Group C build :
If You Build It, We Will Come: Jdm Legends Rx-7 - Speedhunters
I'm trying to get some myself but of course super hard to find. One guy posted here with info on how to get just the flares but that was back in 2013 so probably a dead end.

When you say "Boss" do you mean this thing which looks like a rocket bunny kit with an rx3 front?
Actually, I always liked the look of my fb without the front bumper on,, car has a better shape that way with the slight overhang of the nosecone (kinda lke rx3). I sometimes entertain the idea of doing something to delete the front bumper to retain that look.

Ya it does look like the rocket bunny. And I agree it does look good with the rx3 front end. I don’t understand why their are no modern kits for the fb, especially with all the engine swapping in the older sports cars being big these days.

To be honest I am a bit conflicted with the rx3 front, but that is just what google spit out when i looked up "boss bodykit"
So that wasnt what you were talking about?
I cant see why you couldnt adapt your favorite body kit to fit the fb..
Its a pretty retro car, I dare say there wouldnt be that much market to make it look modern when it looks good retro.

Now the retro body kits, like the Group C and IMSA styles, are a different story because they have their own iconic association with them from the glory days of racing. Plus they are a lot simpler than modern style aero and just look tough.
