F20 in FD?

Alright I've been waiting months to try and post in the SWAP forum but it won't let me...

The quick question is as the post is titled,

Can you swap an f20c engine/drivetrain (ap1 s2k) into the FD shell? With the right amount of Fab work?? Someone shed some light on this for me. I've seen it done with the FB.

why you wanna downgrade for? the stock 13b twin makes way more power. s2000 n/a would be limited to make anymore power without putting a turbo kit. reliability? maybe but I personally wouldn't do it. s2000 needs to rev to 9 to even move and has 0 torque. not hating either. I drive a 13 sec integra as a commuter but thats that. hardly any torque but reliable and saves gas

There is a guy in the drift section that did it on a fc, but if your 13b is good just stick with that. more power and it already has turbos.

I would definitely keep the f20c out of the FD, 13b is better for power production.
If you are going for something different, then sure. The only swap I find worth it is throwing an LS series engine in. Other than that, the sound of a rotary is lovely.

You can fab up anything to work.

Y not do a k24/k20 w/ s2k trans?

When I use to have a k24/20 swap in my hatch a lot of s2000 guys were building the k24 block (tsx or crv) for the s2000.

Plus it's a substantial amount less than the f20/22c That is if you decide to do the swap into the fd lol. It's on you if you do.

Just seems like 2xxwhp is not worth the amount of money to put the s2k motor in the fd, but then again I'm doing a 20b into my fd and money seems to be flying out the window ahhahaha.

Would be nice to someday own an fd that gets ~30mpg lol.

Your car, your money, your choice! Whatever you do just be happy with your decision.

I agree with Broke_A_Baller, but just so you know my FD gets 30mpg as long as I don't romp on it....438whp so I usually romp on it =(.
