exhaust hangers fatigue?

Hey ppl, I have an 85 gs and recently replaced the entire exhaust system. I installed a header, then pipe, then a glass pack, ( for a presilencer) , then more pipe, then a flowmaster muffler. You can hear it WELL when I get on the gas. The problem is after a couple of days break-in, my exhaust rattles. I'm wondering if it got too hot with the header and stretched out the hangers, should I try new hangers or just give in and get a racing beat system? Anybody else have this happen?

If your rubber exhaust hangers are original, it's time to replace them anyway. http://www.mazdatrix.com/e7.htm

But your rattle could be one of your new components hitting a heatshield. Also, keep in mind that glasspack mufflers have a tendency to melt with rotary exhaust heat. Using one closer to the header will just increase those chances.

Also, that glass pack will last only minutes to hours behind the rotary. It's likely melted by now.

Yeah, I guess the glass pack was a bad idea. It was an afterthought. I added it to quiet the car down after I put the new exhaust in. So what is a good presilencer to use that can withstand the heat?
