ECU wiring/ haltech

Hi all, I am looking at proberly getting a haltech ecu but I want to use an rx8 speedo and tacho! now the rx8 speedo tacho on the standard car uses canbus to get the info from the ecu. are you able to use the haltech canbus port to drive the rx8 speedo and tach? or will I need a converter to change the pulse input from the FD sensors to a canbus message?

You should pop onto the Haltech Section where this question can be answered by more qualified members..lol!
I do run Haltech But honestly got C Ludwig(Haltech Guru..heh!) to make a plug and play harness for the Ps1000,then had someone to tune the car!

I believe most people perform a parallel installation with the standalone as most of the functions of the car (ABS, speedometer, cluster, body computer) rely on the stock ECU.
