Drag Kit Broken need help
 

I recently went to Fortune Auto in Chesterfield Va to have a suspension check up. I was told i had a broken inner tie rod in the front and a broken camber bar for the rear (forgive me if im wrong about the name of the rear part sorry). I ordered the inner and outers for the front and now im stumped about the rear.

Apparently what i have on the rear suspension is a drag kit or just aftermarket adjustable parts. the lower of the 2 red bars can be turned by hand when the car is in the air. i was told its broken and you cant tighten it. what can i do to test/fix it if its possible. if it is in fact not able to be repaired; what do i need to replace it? I plan on getting 18x10 front and rear 255/40/18 if that's of any relevance. Thank you for the comments in advance.

The upper red bar is the toe link. The lower one is the trailing arm. Both are aftermarket. Alot of those bought off of ebay for absolutely no reason other than the owner wanted to brag about his cool red bling bits. Or he was just to cheap to replace OEM bushings. Usually sub-par on quality, they rarely are of any benefit for a streeted car and usually get noisy pretty quick.
If it really is broken, look for a used OEM trailing arm or find an aftermarket replacement. Neither is difficult to replace but an alignment may be necessary.
Have you gotten a Factory Service Manual (FSM) yet?

Understand that even that aftermarket trailing arm is attached to an OEM pillow-ball bushing in that lower 'I' arm....at the aft end. Sometimes that pillow-ball will get noisy and clunk a little. In fact any of the stock pillow-balls can, over time, get noisy. Point is, it may not be the trailing arm itself if your chasing noises.
