Do I need a new engine?

Hi everyone my alternator broke. I let the car hibernate for about 3 months. When I replaced the belt, I turned the car on, it turned on after some hesitation. Then Like a dumbass I turned it off immediately. After that the car wont start. I researched the site and tried to deflood it. But it wont start. I took it to a reputable mechanic, he says there's no compression and I need to replace the engine! The only issue is the engine was running great til the 3 month hibernation. No signs of a bad engine. Does anyone know what could possibily be wrong?

first of all, state your car series and engine.
Secondly, get rid of that mechanic,.If you drove the car there then the engine is still ok.
Look up how to properly deflood the engine and also test to make sure that the car's charging system is hooked up properly and operating.

Assuming you still have a 94 RX-7...

See here for the compression check procedure and symptoms of a blown engine.
Rotary Resurrection home of the budget rebuild.

Double-check around the CAS and it's wires, plugs etc. And make sure a tab on the trigger wheel didn't get bent when you were changing the belt.
If all looks well check compression as one or more hard seals could have stuck during the 3 months it sat. If you have compression and if the de-flood procedure doesn't work...and you have a manual car, as a last resort try talking a friend with a truck and tow strap into helping you pop start it.

I have a 94 rx7, with a 26b engine. The car was towed to my mechanic, sorry for the confusion. I already went thru all the steps to deflood, and it won't start.

Both you and your mechanic need to stay away from the engine. Check your regional forum for an actual rotary engine mechanic in your area.
