Cooling System Help

Hi everyone,

So, I recently picked up my first FC RX7 in October. The weather here in Ontario has just started to get nice again so I have it on the road. I had to loop my heater core out of the cooling system as it was totally clogged beyond repair. This helped a bit, but my temp still likes to sit at about half or slightly higher in traffic (in my S4 GXL). It cools down to about a 1/4 to 1/3 cruising at highway speeds, and creeps up to like 3/4 when I really romp on it.

I know that this is bad from what I have read. But the engine still runs very strong and pulls hard. And more importantly NO starting issues! Cold or hot.

So before any hate, I really want to upgrade my cooling system so I can be safe and worry free, as checking my temp. every 30 seconds is not fun. So, now my question is what should I start with? Get a new clutch for my fan since the one in it is 31... Replace the T-Stat? Rad upgrade? Water pump? ANY help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Lukas
