coolant systemWAS over pressurized

So my cooling system was over pressurized(no overheating or smoke btw) ..fixed overflow hose and others and radiator cap that seemed to work for a while. Then it started doing it again so then i thought of that little hose that goes to the throttle body. Well i kept relieving it of air almost everytime i drove for about a week. Until i noticed the cooling system has almost no pressure when warm. Was there a blockage?? Should i be worried?

Test your radiator cap. Its not doing its job. I would probably flush the system and pressure test your cooling system too.

I would think that the rad cap is doing it's job if it relieved pressure when it was supposed to.
I would be looking at the Thermostat, which you never mentioned when you replaced and looked at stuff.

OEM ONLY Yammo.
the rest of the aftermarket crap is just that.
Lots of horror stories of aftermarket thermostats...Seek and Ye shall find..

Lol whats the point of a aftermarket thermostat?

misterstyx69 12-02-12 06:42 PM

I'll say this : go to Mazda they charge you almost double.
Now if some Cheap FC owner can get a thermostat for 8 bucks, where is he gonna go?
Case Closed.,Judge Judy has ruled!

yammo7013 12-11-12 08:16 PM

Would be anything else that would cause the problem??

yammo7013 12-11-12 08:18 PM

Just in case that doesn't work..cause i got my ild rad cap on there just cause i dont want one of the hoses to bust
