Coolant light came on and meter shot up on FD3s.

My Coolant leaked a puddle yesterday and stopped shortly after. Checked under the Car, couldn't find where the Leak was from. Only Coolant Residue was on the Cross Members directly underneath the Oil pan, and Transmission.

Checked my Coolant tank, and poured 16 oz of Coolant into the Filler, and 16 Oz into the Resevoir Tank. Didn't bother starting the Car.

I rechecked my Resevoire and there was more Coolant, and so I took out more than 32 Oz of Coolant . Few More Oz than what I initially put in.

This morning driving to work and first starting the car, the Coolant sensor is beeping 2 minutes after I drove the Car, than the meter shot up to High, than it was normal again...

Drove it for another 10 minutes and I heard the Coolant beep again for a few seconds and then it was Normal and made it to work!

Wonder what the problem is?

Check under the water pump, possibly the weep hole is leaking?

Doing the math, it looks like your engine is only 3k miles since it was rebuilt. That should rule out faulty o-rings, but you may want to rule that out. If the leak is from the overflow tank, that's a sign. Also check if you are seeing white exhaust, as well as a bubbling fill neck. Best would be a pressure test. Doing that, you should see the leak if it's external to the engine.

Looks like I got some Coolant in the Oil, so I'm about to change the ThermoStat and Flush the Coolant.

Yup I think it was from the Overflow tank...but yeah Looks like I got some Coolant mixed with the Oil, so I'm about to change the ThermoStat and flush the Coolant!

Pressure test the cooling system. The stock gauge is not linear so if you overheated on that you got pretty hot. And now you're overflowing from the overflow tank...which is not good. You also have contamination of the coolant along with what sounds like air or gas in the system which will cause the coolant level sensor to buzz.
