Constant buzzing noise from dash.

I have a 1986 NA automatic.
So I checked my manual for what this constant BUZZING noise in my dash was. It said it was the power steering. Checked the fluid and it was low so I added a bit more. Kept doing it. After some looking i found out that it could be my coolant. Checked that and it's not low at all. I don't know what else this could be but I am about ready to drive the car off a cliff if i cannot figure it out.

My warning light cluster doesn't work so i can't tell you if there are any lights on.

There is also this wire hanging down from my car, I am not sure what it is, or if it is related. I just want the buzzing to stop.

There are only 3 reasons you will ever hear a buzzer:

1) You're at redline
2) Your coolant is low or the level sensor (top of rad.) is disconnected
3) Your oil is low or the level sensor (side of oil pan) is disconnected

The wires hanging in your picture could be for the reverse/5th gear and neutral switches on the transmission. I can't tell all of the wire colors. The connector for the oil level sensor is actually a similar plug, and will come off the engine harness too, so make sure you check it. Just look next to the driver-side engine mount.

I have the same beeping problem in my fc. I did some research on it and theyre saying its something with aftermarket steering wheel. Hopefully we can figure it out.

Buzzes and Beeps are 2 different ways that the car will let you know that something is wrong.

It is the oil sensor wire that is the easiest fix plug it back in and see if it goes away.

My seat belt made my buzZer go off so I unpluged the harness under the seat and it stopped
