Cheap FB RX7 plans

So I've always wanted a rotary, and it just so happened that yesterday I came across one in a field while looking at a bunch of snowmobiles. A lot of talking later and I found out it was a 1982 and right before last winter the owner blew the oil control ring in the 12a and took the motor apart and parked the car in his friends field. I asked him what he'd sell it for and he's right around the 700-800 dollar CAD range. I'm pretty much deadset on this car as the body is almost 100% free of any rust but I'd like to make plans of where I want to take the car first.

I've come up with 3 choices.

-Rebuild the 12a and keep it n/a and play around with a few bolt ons/port it.
This is obviously the easiest and cheapest route but I find I'll be looking for more power pretty fast.

-Rebuilt the 12a, street port it and turbo it
I wouldn't want to take it past 225hp at the most, but I'd street port it and find a good turbo. My issues with it are what is the best turbo to use, how to go about turbo'ing a motor that doesn't have a turbo kit for it, finding the best carb for it, etc.

-Source a turbo 13b and swap it
The hard part about this is sourcing a 13b for cheap and or in my area. I don't know of any in my area that aren't already in cars. I also don't know whether it'll bolt up to the stock trans.

I'm obviously impartial to something with the 12a because I'll already have one, but I'd like to know the experienced people of this forum's opinion first.

Before you buy it, check out the condition of the rotor housings. Rebuilding it could be over $1000 and you might be better off buying a running RX-7 for $2000.

you don't want to go big port NA 13b?
with the 12a irons IF* they're in good condition, you could source some gslse housings and any 13b rotors and have a ported 4port 13b, will cost you less than a T2 na engine and a LOT less than a turbo II engine (with turbo)
Just saying you have other options too
