Carb 1980 rx7

was thinking of getting a racing beat intake and Holley carb or should I have the original carb rebuilt

Have you thought about going with a efi setup instead?

It would be a better tuning option and you won't need to adjust for atmospheric pressure during elevation change like you would for carbs.

Nikki carb is great. If you can get your hands on a sterling carb, even better. Holley are good too, but I've heard they are hard to tune. Most cost effective is Nikki rebuild.

Welcome to the board. :)

Unless you just have a thing for Holleys, rebuild the Nikki. Use the leftover money to start addressing the exhaust if you haven't already done so.
