if only on braking your rotors are warped

Michaelangelofb 01-07-09 11:48 PM

yeah if it is safe to have the rotors turned start there.. If you cant turn them get new ones cant hurt to check your alignmnet too depending on how long it has been shaking,

When i replaced my rotors at napa it was pretty cheap under 100 for all 4 i believe.

I wouldn´t use 25$ rotors on a 259rwhp car. I had mine turned and have no more shaking since then, but check if there´s enough meat first.

You can only have them turned so many times. There's a minimum thickness of something like 20mm.

Name-brand non-drilled rotors don't cost that much, so $25 is perfectly normal. It's the overpriced drilled / slotted ones that tend to crack anyway, so price does not always equal reliability.

Fully agree on the non-drilled ones being better. Didn´t know they are that cheap in the states.

Re-surface your rotors or get new ones.
