Calipers!!! HELP
 

I took my car to get coilovers installed and in the process the guy doing it broke the hardline that goes to the left front caliper. We got a new line it was the incorrect thread size and he stripped the inside of my caliper..... Im trying to find a new one but seems like all they(auto part store) sell is the right one.... They look identical however if i were to use a right caliper on the left my bleeder and conection would be towards the bottom instead of the top.... Anyone ever tried this? Its the calipers with the dual pistons...please help i want to get my car running again.

bleeder has to be on top, otherwise u will never bleed the air out.

Even if you bleed it off of the car, and then bolt it in, you would have to fab a custom hardline to mate with the stock rubber line. And I would never trust a caliper that was bled this way, as any bubbles may rise up over time and be un-bleedable, meaning you will lose braking power on that corner.

I would keep looking for a replacement caliper nearby and just take care of it right the first time. FD front calipers also fit, they're functionally identical.

EDIT: Check Rockauto online too, they usually have some available.

Thank you guys, i looked at fd calipers as well and almost went with the rock auto ones.... However.... The mazda lettering was ground down on them... But they did look good... And THEN i went on ebay and found a pair identical to mine for the FC for 150 bucks with the lines and everything....FD calipers are slick though!!
